PARSIPPANY, NJ — It’s been a while since Parsippany could enjoy one of its favorite seasonal traditions. But the Fall Festival will return for the first time in three years.

The street fair that features food, entertainment and other attractions will take place Sept. 25 on North Beverwyck Road. Registration for vendors has opened.

The township canceled the Fall Festival for the past two years because of COVID-19 concerns. Officials planned to hold one last year but canceled in early September because of a local rise in COVID cases.

After two years of events getting canceled or modified because of the pandemic, Parsippany is getting back into the swing of major outdoor events. The township began a summer concert series July 28 and will hold another show Aug. 25 at Veteran’s Memorial Park
